Alliance to End Plastic Waste

Formosa Plastics Corporation, U.S.A. is a founding member of the Alliance to End Plastic Waste. Since 2019, the Alliance has rallied over 80 member companies, project partners, allies and supporters who are committed to ending plastic waste in the environment. Through partnerships with policy makers, non-governmental organizations, and local communities, the Alliance is striving to clean up plastic waste and establish circular economies for plastic materials.

Operation Clean Sweep (OCS) is an international program designed to prevent resin pellet, flake and powder loss and help keep this material out of the marine environment. Formosa Plastics Corporation, U.S.A. has pledged to support OCS and help ensure that the principles of stewardship are embraces by everyone handling plastics materials.
