(Livingston, NJ)- Formosa Plastics Corporation U.S.A. is thrilled to announce the launch of a groundbreaking polypropylene production unit at our Point Comfort, Texas facility. This milestone marks a significant leap forward in our commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction.

The new unit can produce an impressive 550 million pounds of premium-quality polypropylene annually. It represents a major step in meeting the evolving needs of customers across a wide range of industries.

The unit is capable of producing a full slate of polypropylene grades, including homopolymer, random copolymer, and impact copolymer. It also includes a side feeder that can incorporate up to 20 percent recycled content and impact modifiers—a major innovation supporting sustainability.

Mechanicals will be complete end of May, with a commission date third quarter 2024.
